About Peter Schneider-My Business Credentials

Peter has been and entrepreneur for over 35 years. He started when he was 12 years old working summers in the family business to learn the business from the ground up. Working with a hoe, he began by digging up weeds, and he continued moving up the organization learning the many aspects of the company's life cycles, challenges and business barriers.

Peter is the President and Founder of Discover Solutions Corporation, a company that is dedicated to helping clients find, rediscover or grow into their personal peak performance. At Discover Solutions, they get clear about their goals, aspirations and dreams of where they want to go, and then they actually get to the attainment of their desired success.

Peter's keen insights as the CEO of his family's business taught him that success comes from overcoming business and personal barriers. These years of experience helped him continuously grow both his organizational and personal development. He can show you how confronting business barriers will allow both you and your organization to grow and prosper.

Today Peter is a Business and Personal Coach helping business leaders to strengthen their teams by developing the communication, cohesiveness and integration that allows the Team Leader (that's you!) to work on growing their business as opposed to working in their business.

Through membership in Coachville, their Graduate School of Coaching, their School of Small Business Coaching and their School of Personal Development, Peter is committed to a lifelong learning and improvement. Peter is also a member of the International Association of Coaches.

Peter is active since 1997 with TEC (The Executive Committee), a worldwide organization of CEO's dedicated to improving their individual performance with the monthly input and guidance of their fellow CEO's. The insight and wisdom gained by this interaction has broadened both Peter's scope of business barriers as well as his experience with various industries.

Peter's personal philosophy is that all you ever own is the twinkle in you eye, the smile on your face and the love in your heart. You need to own these characteristics for yourself as you move through the journey of your life. Pete's - Why I Became a Coach

Our story starts when my dynamic, growing, family business needed to promote our star employees into management positions in order to meet our tremendous growth. Whoops! Some unexpected problems arose. The company was asking men and women from a broad spectrum of color, age, religions and backgrounds to take a substantial plunge.

They may have secretly yearned for the chance to do something better for themselves, but when presented with what we saw as opportunity by either their manager, one of my senior members of the management team, or even myself (the CEO), they grew visibly uncomfortable and sought to distance themselves. They struggled mentally and emotionally to justify why they had been chosen. Were their qualifications, skills, know how or even the ability to hold higher levels of responsibility enough for them?

As a leader of our company, it was an innate ability for me to spot talent in them when they presented themselves in their own unique ways. I would do this with anyone I met, as it was quiet obvious who had talent inside and outside the company. Regardless of their backgrounds, education, age, experience, I could see that they had that personal power. As managers and leaders in our company, we would give assurances that we would support these wonderful folks and help them succeed as they stretched themselves to the next level of performance and responsibilities.

There were the few that totally frustrated me and my team of managers as they could not and never did see the greatness inside themselves. It was like looking at a gold mine and never getting hold or use the gold.

Ever since this experience, it has been my personal quest to unshackle people from their self-imposed limitations that hold them back from going after what they really do want in their lives. It is like connecting to the source power inside oneself with the inner knowledge that just strains and yearns to break out and produce extraordinary results by ordinary people. These people have been my catalyst to learning more about people, what barriers limit them, and how to unleash the big, unlimited personal power for peak performance.

I found my personal destiny (or it found me) for I'm on a journey in my life to help my clients and those with whom I come in contact to see for themselves their own personal power. I want to help them to see inside themselves so they can view what's been hidden to them but has been obvious to others looking at them. The funny thing is that as I have grown older and gained experience, I can see this greatness in everyone I meet, if it's in someone's bigger or smaller role in life or different path in life. I love helping them to make significant contributions in ways that are needed to make this grand old world of ours a better place individually and globally.
